Transport ministry warns manufacturer over faked safety data

      Don Quijote president mulls resignation in wake of fire

      TOKYO, Japan - Don Quijote Co. President Takao Yasuda bursts into tears at a press conference in Tokyo on Dec. 14. He suggested that he might resign following a deadly fire at one of the company's discount shops in Saitama Prefecture. Three people died in the fire which police suspect might be a case of arson.
