Scott Waddle (R) on March 18 denies his client will submit written testimony to the U.S. Navy Court of Inquiry investigating the sub's fatal collision with the Ehime Maru, despite a statement by the Japanese Consulate General in Honolulu indicating he would. ''Cmdr. Waddle has no written testimony,'' Charles Gittins said in an e-mail message to Kyodo News.
