Mizuho Bank's ATM, online transactions halted
TOKYO, Japan - Mizuho Bank President Satoru Nishibori (2nd from R) and senior executives of the bank bow in apology during a press conference in Tokyo on March 17, 2011, after the bank's computer system malfunctioned earlier in the day for the third straight day, halting transactions through automated teller machines at 440 branches nationwide and online. The bank said the problem appears unrelated to the mega earthquake that struck Japan. (Kyodo)
