Yellow sand observed in parts of Japan

TOKYO, Japan - Tokyo Sky Tree, a broadcasting tower under construction in Tokyo's Sumida Ward, is blurred by yellow sand carried by westerlies from China on March 21, 2010, as strong winds caused by a low-pressure system blew across Japan. Yellow sand was observed in parts of Japan for the first time this year. (Kyodo)
