Aftermath of online cheating
NARA, Japan - An applicant for an entrance examination held on March 8, 2011, at Nara Prefectural University places her cellphone, in an envelope distributed by the university, in a box held by a university official. Schools in Japan have begun taking tougher measures to prevent cheating at their entrance exams in the wake of the arrest March 3 of a 19-year-old student for allegedly disrupting a university entrance exam in February by soliciting answers online via a cellphone from the exam room.
