100-meter-long carp streamer
TOKYO, Japan - Photo taken from a Kyodo News helicopter shows a 100-meter-long carp streamer flying from a giant crane over the bed of Tone River in Kazo, Saitama Prefecture, on May 3, 2011. About 110,000 people, including 120 evacuees from areas close to the crippled Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant who were invited by the Kazo city government, viewed the streamer. Putting up carp streamers outside homes is a tradition around Children's Day on May 5 in Japan to wish for children's healthy growth. (Kyodo)
