Asahi to buy New Zealand's Independent Liquor
TOKYO, Japan - Naoki Izumiya, president of Asahi Group Holdings Ltd., says during a press conference in Tokyo on Aug. 18, 2011, that the Japanese beverage maker will buy Independent Liquor Ltd., a major New Zealand manufacturer and distributor of alcoholic beverages. (Kyodo)
