WAKAYAMA, Japan - Organs removed from a brain dead man at a hospital in western Japan are transported on Aug. 19, 2010, for patients waiting for transplants. The man's family consented for his organs to be donated, although he had not expressed his intentions in writing, the second such case in Japan under a revised organ transplant law. (Kyodo)
