Mercedes-Benz test runs electric vehicle in Japan
TOKYO, Japan - Photo shows Daimler AG's Smart two-seater electric vehicle. Mercedes-Benz Japan Co., an arm of the German automaker, said Oct. 12, 2010, that it has started test runs of the electric vehicle on public roads in Japan ahead of the planned release of the compact car in or after 2012.
