Born, Maria Luigi Carlo Zenobio Salvatore Cherubini, although later (after 1790) adopting the French version of his name, Marie Louis Charles Z鮯bi Salvador Cherubini Italian born composer, spent most of his working life in France. His most significant compositions are operas and sacred music. Was highly regarded by Beethoven. Date: 1760-1842
