Sanyo releases world's 'lightest, smallest' videocam

TOKYO, Japan - Sanyo Electric Co. has released what it claims as the world's smallest and lightest high-definition video camera. The Xacti DMX - HD700 videocam, which weighs 189 grams and has a volume of 171 cc, will be put on the Japanese market on Oct. 19. The projected retail price is about 70,000 yen, the company says.
