Drill to intercept weapons of mass destruction starts off Japan
TATEYAMA, Japan - A Japan-hosted maritime drill on preventing weapons of mass destruction from proliferating started Oct. 13 in the Pacific off Izu Oshima Island, south of Tokyo, with personnel, aircraft and naval vessels from seven countries participating.
