Hitachi to launch world's thinnest LCD panel TVs

TOKYO, Japan - Hitachi Ltd. said Oct. 23 it will release a series of 3.5-centimeter thick liquid crystal display panel television models whose monitors will be the world's thinnest flat-panel TVs. (Kyodo)
