2 JR West execs resign over dubious handling of accident probe

OSAKA, Japan - West Japan Railway Co. President Takayuki Sasaki bows in apology during a news conference on Oct. 23, 2009, at the transport ministry after submitting the company's report on its executives' questionable handling of the investigation process into a 2005 fatal train derailment.
