ASEM ministerial meeting on small business opens in Beijing
BEIJING, China - Asian and European ministers in charge of small business meet at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Oct. 30 for a two-day ASEM ministerial meeting on small and medium enterprises. The meeting, proposed by Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao at the ASEM summit in September 2006, is aimed at enhancing the role of small business in the globalized economy. (Kyodo)
