Petition for retrial of 'Yokohama Incident' accepted

YOKOHAMA, Japan - The bereaved family members of a late journalist who was convicted in the so-called ''Yokohama Incident'' and their supporters head for the Yokohama District Court on Oct. 31. The court accepted the petition for a retrial filed by the bereaved family members over the nation's worst case of repression of free speech during the war. (Kyodo)
