FUKUOKA, Japan - Photo taken from a Kyodo News helicopter on Nov. 11 shows a P-3C patrol plane and a helicopter of Japan's Maritime Self-Defense Force trying to detect a suspected nuclear submarine that intruded into Japanese waters. Japan determined that the submarine belongs to the Chinese Navy and lodged a strong protest with China later in the day. (Kyodo)
