Ichiro collects 4th straight Gold Glove Award
NEW YORK, United States - Seattle Mariners outfielder Ichiro Suzuki (in file photo dated Oct. 3, 2004), who broke an 84-year-old major league record for most hits in a season, was awarded the Gold Glove Award for the fourth straight year as the 2004 American League winners were announced on Nov. 2. En route to replacing George Sisler on the all-time hits list with 262, Ichiro made just two errors in 387 total chances, and equaled the single-season high in outfield assists with 12. (MLB) (Kyodo)
