South Koreans urge Japan to apologize over 'sex slave' issue
SEOUL, South Korea - A group of former Korean ''sex slaves'' and their supporters demonstrate outside the Japanese Embassy in Seoul on Dec. 14, calling on Japan to accept a European Parliament resolution adopted Dec. 13 that urged Japan to formally apologize to women forced to work as sex slaves by the Japanese military before and during World War II. Similar motions were adopted earlier this year in the United States, the Netherlands and Canada. (Kyodo)
