Morita Chemical president apologizes over explosion

TOKYO, Japan - Yasuo Morita (front), president of Morita Chemical Industries Co., meets the press in Osaka on Dec. 24, 2009, after an explosion earlier in the day at the company's plant near Shin-Osaka station killed four of its workers. He said the cause of the blast, which occurred when the four workers were cutting away the top of a chemical tank, is not known. (Kyodo)
