Court rejects suit by families for extra welfare payments

HIROSHIMA, Japan - A lawyer holds up a banner in front of the Hiroshima District Court on Dec. 25, protesting against the court's rejection of a lawsuit filed by welfare recipients seeking to revive extra welfare payments for the elderly and fatherless families.
