Keio's forestation plan in China recognized as climate project

A forestation program being promoted by the university in China has been recognized by the Japanese government as a Clean Development Mechanism project under the Kyoto Protocol designed to reduce global carbon dioxide emissions, government officials said Dec. 29, 2009.
