Thaksin pleads innocent at corruption trial
BANGKOK, Thailand - Ousted Thai Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra (C) emerges from a court in Bangkok on March 12 after pleading not guilty to charges of abusing his administrative power to enable his wife to buy prime Bangkok real estate from a state agency at below market prices. The trial opened 18 months after the military overthrew Thaksin's elected government in September 2006. (Kyodo)
