Damages suit by forced Chinese laborers, kin rejected
NAGASAKI, Japan - Chinese plaintiffs protest outside the Nagasaki District Court in Nagasaki, Nagasaki Prefecture on March 27 after the court turned down a 200 million yen damages suit filed by a group of Chinese seeking compensation for being forced to work as laborers in harsh conditions at Japanese coal mines during World War II.
