'Doraemon' author's museum to feature 50,000 original drawings
TOKYO, Japan - Masako Fujimoto (2nd from L), the widow of Fujiko F. Fujio who created ''Doraemon,'' poses for photographs during a press conference at a hotel in Tokyo on March 29, 2010, at which the outlines of a museum dedicated to the cartoonist were unveiled. The Fujiko F. Fujio Museum is scheduled to open on Sept. 3, 2011, in Kawasaki, Kanagawa Prefecture, the city where he spent more than three decades until his death in 1996. (Kyodo)
