Sony to launch next-generation OEL flat-screen TV this year

TOKYO, Japan - Sony Corp. plans to launch the world's first organic electroluminescence (OEL) television (in photo) within this year, the company said on April 12. The 11-inch OEL TV will feature a 3-millimeter-thick panel that is thinner than a liquid crystal display. (Kyodo)
