Disgraced J-pop producer-icon Komuro faces suspended prison term
OSAKA, Japan - Pop music producer Tetsuya Komuro bows in apology at the outset of a press conference in Osaka on May 11 after he was sentenced to three years in prison, suspended for five years, by the Osaka District Court for swindling an investor out of 500 million yen in 2006 by attempting to sell copyrights for songs he no longer owned.
