Gifu Symphony Orchestra plays at Viennese Music Association hall

VIENNA, Austria - Japan's Gifu Symphony Orchestra performs at the Viennese Music Association, home of the Vienna Philharmonic, on May 4 in its first overseas concert to mark the 55th anniversary of its foundation. The amateur orchestra from Gifu Prefecture, central Japan, played the ''Nagaragawa,'' a piece named after a river running in the prefecture written by the late Japanese composer Ikuma Dan, and two other European pieces with Japanese conductor Kazuhiko Komatsu.                     Louboutin Employee Suspected of Stealing Nearly 1.5 Million Euros Worth of Merchandise

                    File photo dated July 25, 2024 shows Christian Louboutin attending The Prelude to The Paris Games 2024 at the Vuitton Foundation in Paris. A young woman employed by luxury brand Louboutin has been brought to court for the theft of over 700 pairs of shoes and 700 pieces of leather goods. The case came to light thanks to a publication on social networks. Photos of previously unseen models, never before presented to the public, alerted the Louboutin teams. The investigation quickly led to the identification of the culprit, a young woman who held a position of responsibility within the company. Investigations revealed a well-honed modus operandi. The employee allegedly took advantage of her position to steal high-value parts, which she then resold on the black market, making substantial profits.
