Home, office of ex-intelligence chief raided over Chongryon
TOKYO, Japan - Prosecutors on June 13 searched the home (in photo) and office of Shigetake Ogata, a former Public Security Intelligence Agency chief, over a deal to sell the head office in Tokyo of the pro-Pyongyang General Association of Korean Residents in Japan, or Chongryon, to an investment advisory firm headed by Ogata. The Tokyo District Public Prosecutors Office's special squad suspects Ogata has made false notary documents in connection with the deal. (Kyodo)
