Taiwan starts exchanges between local dollar, Chinese yuan

TAIPEI, Taiwan - A bank in Taipei starts currency convertibility services between the local dollar and Chinese yuan on June 30 in preparation for deepening links between the island and China as Taiwan banks received a green light the same day from the central bank to begin the services. (Kyodo)
