High court upholds 2 1/2-yr term for Livedoor founder Horie

TOKYO, Japan - A group of lawyers for Takafumi Horie, the founder of the Livedoor Co. group, enter the Tokyo High Court on July 25. The Court upheld a lower court ruling sentencing Horie to two years and six months in prison without suspension for his involvement in accounting fraud and other securities law breaches. (Kyodo)
