Superior's insulting remarks result in sailor's suicide
FUKUOKA, Japan - A lawyer for the parents of a Maritime Self-Defense Force member who hanged himself in 1999, and supporters celebrate in front of the Fukuoka High Court in Fukuoka on Aug. 25 after the court ordered the state to pay 3.5 million yen in damages to the parents, ruling that his suicide resulted from his superior's insulting words and actions against him.
