Heavy rain hits central, eastern Japan, 1 dead
NAGOYA, Japan - Houses and cars in a residential area in the city of Okazaki, Aichi Prefecture, are inundated on Aug. 29 due to torrential rains. The body of a woman was found in a flooded two-story house in the city. The city authorities issued an evacuation order covering all 140,000 households in the city. (Kyodo)
