Ex-Wakayama governor convicted of bribery, bid rigging

OSAKA, Japan - Former Wakayama Gov. Yoshiki Kimura was sentenced to three years in prison on Sept. 10, suspended for four years, for taking 10 million yen in bribes and rigging bids for three prefectural public works projects in 2004.
