Ex-lawmaker Suzuki to make comeback to lower house
SAPPORO, Japan - Scandal-tainted former lawmaker Muneo Suzuki celebrates Sept. 11 in Sapporo as he is certain to regain his parliamentary seat in the day's House of Representatives election. Suzuki ran in the election in the proportional representation block in Hokkaido from his newly launched New Party Daichi, based in Sapporo. (Kyodo)
