Manga comic artist works on digital board

TOKYO, Japan - Comic artist Okosama Ranchi draws pictures using a digital pen and special liquid crystal display monitor at her atelier in Tokyo's Akishima City on Aug. 10, 2009. ''Creating coterie magazines is attractive as I can do everything freely including front covers.'' She displayed nine comic books and mugs among other materials at the subsequent Comic Market sales exhibition. She said she felt happy with the response to her work by fans. (Kyodo)
