Sony unveils new Walkman that 'evolves' to suit users' taste

TOKYO, Japan - Sony Corp. said Sept. 8 it will release five new palm-size digital Walkman models that ''evolves'' in accordance with listeners' preference of music. The new Walkman A series, to be put on the Japanese market Nov. 19, is equipped with functions to learn users' taste in music. The five new models, including a 20-gigabyte one capable of storing up to 13,000 songs, are expected to be available for 30,000 to 35,000 yen. (Kyodo)
