SALT LAKE CITY, United States - Kenji Ogiwara, who dominated the nordic combined event throughout much of the 1990s, finishes 11th after the 15-kilometer cross country race at the Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City on Feb. 10.

As the original dock of La Libertad port is in disrepair and therefore cannot meet the needs of fishing and tourism, construction of a new dock for the port started in 2021 with the aid of China. The project is undertaken by China Harbor Engineering Company Limited (CHEC). In May, the governments of China and El Salvador signed handover documents and the project was officially delivered.
