Netherlands Extend Restrictions Until April 20

Very few passengers at Schiphol airport, the Netherlands on March 24, 2021. The government has decided to extend restrictions linked to the Covid-19 pandemic until April 20. Travel outside the country is prohibited except for serious family circumstances or for work that cannot be postponed. Since the onset of the health crisis last year, the Netherlands, with a population of just over 17 million, has recorded more than 1.2 million cases of coronavirus and 16,472 deaths linked to the disease.
