Ritual for "Festival of the Ages" in Kyoto

A ritual is held at Heian Jingu Shrine in Kyoto on Oct. 22, 2021, for the annual "Jidai Matsuri" (Festival of the Ages.) This year's festival procession by people dressed in historical garb was canceled for the second consecutive year to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus.
