Climate march in Brussels
The Climate March started on Sunday 10 October 2021, in front of the Brussels-North train station. According to the Brussels-Capital/Ixelles police zone, the number of people present is estimated at 50,000. After a year and a half of virtual absence in the streets due to the health context and three weeks before COP26, NGOs, trade unions, mutual societies, youth organizations and citizen movements, gathered under the name of Climate Coalition, launched a new call for mass mobilization on Sunday in Brussels, Belgium. The protesters are demanding that state authorities respect their commitments to fight global warming. Photo by Igor Pliner / BePress/ABACAPRESS.COM
