STORYLINE:
In March 2020, a herd of wild Asian elephants left their home, a forest nature reserve in the Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, Yunnan Province. They trekked northwards, arrived in the provincial capital Kunming in June 2021, and then headed back home safely.
Their journey has highlighted the need to continue efforts to make the animals content in the nature reserves they call home, and minimize the impact of the
