        STORY: India votes in 3rd phase of general elections SHOOTING TIME: May 7, 2024 DATELINE: May 8, 2024 LENGTH: 00:01:23 LOCATION: New Delhi CATEGORY: POLITICS SHOTLIST: 1. various of India gate 2. various of people casting their vote STORYLINE: Voting in India's third phase of elections commenced on Tuesday. Among 93 constituencies spread across 11 states and Union Territories, millions of voters queued up at polling stations since early morning. Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah cast their votes on Tuesday in the western city of Ahmedabad. According to the Election Commission of India, a 66.71 percent voter turnout was recorded in phase two of the general elections. As per the schedule announced by the Election Commission of India, the election will be held in seven phases.
