STORYLINE:
Chinese Enterprises Association in Brazil and the Brazilian non-profit organization "Rio Solidario" on Thursday held a donation ceremony in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
The donated materials will be delivered to Petropolis, a city located 68 km from Rio de Janeiro.
On Feb. 15, Petropolis was slammed by heavy rains that caused more than 50 mudslides and floods, leaving at least 233 people dead and several others missing.
On March 20, at least five people were killed after heavy rains pounded Petropolis.
