STORYLINE:
Thirty-nine artificially bred red-crowned cranes have been released into the wild recently in northeast China's Liaoning Province to replenish the wild population of the endangered species.
The red-crowned crane is a species under first-class state protection in China. The local government in Panjin has established a captive breeding and reintroduction base to protect them.
