STORYLINE:
Shanghai, with a population of 25 million, has now become a major battleground against COVID-19.
In order to meet Shanghai residents' demand for daily necessities, batches of fresh food from across China have been sent to the city.
Recently, 100 tonnes of vegetables, including potatoes, carrots, cabbages and onions, were transported to Shanghai by trucks from Liuyang, central China's Hunan Province.
In Lanzhou, northwest China's Gansu Province, a cargo train loaded with potatoes, apples, onions, milk and beef noodles, departed for Shanghai.
