STORYLINE:
Despite the multiple challenges facing Lebanon, the country still attracts tourists from different places all over the world who are keen to visit the country's most famous landmarks.
One of these landmarks is the Gibran Museum which displays the life and work of Khalil Gibran, Lebanese famous writer and painter.
The Gibran Museum was founded in 1935 and it has 440 original paintings and drawings of Gibran and his tomb. It also includes his furniture and belongings from his studio when he lived in New York and his private manuscripts.
Lebanon has been suffering from an unprecedented financial crisis which raises concerns about the country's ability to remain a cultural and touristic hub for people in the region and worldwide.
