The national holiday is an orange-filled festival that takes place annually on the Dutch King's birthday on April 27. King Willem-Alexander turns 57 this year. With orange decorations everywhere, Dutch flags and people dressed head to toe in orange, it is one of the most popular Dutch national holidays.
