The Central Agency of Statistics on Monday said the low base effect in the first quarter last year, which contracted 0.7 percent, also contributed to the growth. According to Margo Yuwono, head of the agency, the growth indicated that Indonesia maintained a steady economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Rising commodity prices have driven Indonesia's export to rise by 16.22 percent. Furthermore, the increase of mobility has also stimulated the economy.
