Erroneous transfer of COVID funds in Japanese town
Photo taken from a Kyodo News helicopter shows an aerial view of the town of Abu in Yamaguchi Prefecture, western Japan, on May 18, 2022. In April, the town mistakenly sent 46.3 million yen ($358,000) in COVID-19 relief money to a 24-year-old male resident, who was at the top of the list, instead of just 100,000 yen each household was supposed to receive.
